Luke and Brie are on a first date. For Luke, this means an evening filled with questions starting with, "Where is Brie?" When he does find her, he faces the prospect of having to lose her to a conversation with three smarmy office guys, two hipsters with a pizza, or one "old friend." Over the course of the evening, the two will navigate both the social jungle of Los Angeles bars and parties and the complicated landscape of attraction, as Luke tries to puzzle the final question, "Is this even a date at all?"
