Recorded in 3 days by Logan Matheny (Roman Candle) in the hills of Carolina, this ep allows Keegan to fully explore his love for mood and layers. Each of these tracks has a different instrument clanging and ringing, rising and falling, hiding for a moment, then showing it's face.

"Sadness To Relate" shows a more intimate artist, from the lyrics to the melodies to the structure of the songs themselves. Those strings and horns that so beautiful stayed within their arrangements now give way to guitars, toy pianos, cymbals and shakers, all swelling to a blistering climax.

An exciting preview as to what comes next, the title track signals a larger, more raw sound that still holds the same grace as "Islands", but perhaps has grown a bit restless.
